Ashley is an Olympia-based garden designer with a passion for creating artful, native gardens that feel like they have always belonged. With over 10 years of experience, Ashley has mastered the art of blending perennials in a way that is practical and stunning. Her background in oil painting and horticulture helps her think outside the garden box. Her travels to world-class art museums and gardens keep her designs fresh and inspired.

She purchased her Olympia home in 2023. Upon moving in she began removing invasive species and planting native flowers and shrubs. Through designing her home garden and building raised beds she discovered a love for garden planning. She has a deep understanding and compassion for anyone moving into their home, managing the complexity of problems that come with creating a dream landscape.

Ashley’s work draws on the influence of garden legends like James Hitchmough and Gertrude Jekyll, bringing an ethereal vibe to the Pacific Northwest. From lakefront estates to cozy family homes, Ashley’s sustainable and native focused designs make every garden feel like a little slice of paradise.
